So I've been digging through boxes of stuff from my parents and I stumbled upon a few old notebooks and sketchbooks that I used to draw in back in 2003 when I was just learning to draw. They are pretty terrible and I'm seriously a little embarrassed to show you a glimpse, but even so here it is:
This is from 2003. I'm kind of amazed at how far I've come since then! In 2003, I was drawing glorified stick figures and by 2008, I'd managed to quit my day job to become a full time artist. It's strange to browse through my old sketchbooks of awful artwork but it definitely makes me feel even more confident in the work I'm doing now!
So if you're interested in partaking in your own artistic journey, you can sign up for the summer session of Inspired Doodles, where I take you through some of the methods I used to improve my drawing skills. Or if you're looking for some one-on-one coaching for art or business, I'm now offering Creative Biz Coaching on a limited basis.
